VLBEER data server
VLBEER (vlbeer.ira.inaf.it) is the EVN's Central Anciliary Data Server and is maintained by Mauro Nanni and located at IRA, Bologna, Italy. EVN Users, VLBI Friends and JIVE Support Scientists deposit and retrieve schedules, experiment logs and amplitude calibration data from this. A typical session would look like,
%ftp vlbeer.ira.inaf.it
ftp> evn
ftp> **password**
ftp> cd vlbi_arch
ftp> cd nov00
ftp> mput ea000.*
ftp> bye
for someone depositing a SCHED keyin file for their experiment EA000 that was being observed during the November 2000 session. The password can be obtained from any VLBI friend or JIVE support scientist; or telephone Zsolt Paragi at JIVE (+31 521 596536), or Bonn correlator staff (+49 228 525220).
Alternatively, files can be browsed or downloaded by anonymous ftp. Data from a given session are left on-line for one year before being archived.
